In 2016 we sold our inner city Brisbane Italian restaurant that we opened in 1995 and successfully ran for 21 years. Having sold what was described as a "Brisbane icon" we took a well earned break and came back looking for our next adventure and how we could continue to create remarkable memories for not only our clients but for their clients, family and friends as well. In 2020 our daughter was doing work experience at a local real estate agent when she noticed the lacklustre settlement gifts that were heading out the agent's door at an inflated cost and felt that there was a major gap in the market to do something fresh and exciting so in 2020 Hamptons Hampers was born and we set out to create a product that used not only our past experience in food but also unique and exceptional gifts.
Our core focus was to deliver joy through gifts and we have created a product and service that not only had a wow factor but a real point of difference. We have worked closely with fellow Australian businesses and also a handful of boutique international suppliers to create hampers and gifts that will continue to exceed expectations.
In a short amount of time we have seen some extremely loyal clients come on board and it’s thrilling to watch how they are able to create lasting memories of their own and the part we have been able to play in that.
